Bespoke research and strategic advice for African markets.
We work with investors, corporates, development institutions and governments who need to understand how a market actually functions before they commit to it, not after.
What we do
Africa's markets don't reward generic frameworks. Regulatory environments shift with the political cycle, institutions rarely function exactly as written, and the difference between a good decision and a costly one often comes down to information that never appears in a public filing.
We close that gap. Our work spans political economy analysis, market entry advisory, regulatory and policy intelligence, stakeholder engagement, strategic risk advisory, and enhanced due diligence, each grounded in the same method: research built from primary sources, tested against relationships in the markets we cover.
We've completed over 100 projects across more than 40 African markets, for clients ranging from early-stage investors to sovereign wealth funds, development finance institutions and governments. That track record isn't a headline figure. It's forty instances of testing our method against different political systems and regulatory cultures, and refining our judgement each time.
Since 2016
We don't produce country reports from a distance. Every recommendation is built from evidence, not assumption, and tested against people who are actually in the market, not just familiar with it from the outside. That combination, rigorous method and direct relationships, is what lets our clients act on what we tell them, not just read it with interest.
