Bespoke research and strategic advice for African markets.
We work with investors, corporates, foundations, development institutions, international organisations and governments that need to understand how markets function in practice and what that means for their decisions.
What we do
Africa's markets don't reward generic frameworks. Regulatory environments shift with the political cycle, institutions rarely function exactly as written, and the difference between a good decision and a costly one often comes down to information that never appears in a public filing.
We close that gap. Our work spans political economy analysis, market entry advisory, regulatory and policy intelligence, stakeholder engagement, strategic risk advisory, and enhanced due diligence, each grounded in the same method: research built from primary sources, tested against relationships in the markets we cover.
Our approach
Our work combines structured research, fieldwork, and long-standing relationships in the markets we cover. We test our analysis against local knowledge and direct evidence, giving clients practical advice grounded in the political and institutional context.
Since 2016
We've completed over 100 projects across more than 40 African markets, working with investors and corporates, foundations, development finance institutions, international organisations and governments. This experience gives us a strong understanding of how political, regulatory and institutional dynamics vary across markets.
